Crypto Theft Attorneys
Are you a victim of cryptocurrency theft or financial fraud?
Cybercrime involving Cryptocurrency is on the Rise.
Cryptocurrency theft is rapidly gaining traction as a high loss financial scam. The FBI estimates that losses reached a staggering $5.6 billion in 2023, which represents a 45% increase from 2021.
Victims of Cryptocurrency Theft
Cryptocurrency thieves are strategic in their attacks, and even the most seasoned investors may find themselves interacting with bad agents in pursuit of the next opportunity.
Older populations are also particularly vulnerable to online scams due to a lack of familiarity with the internet and limited access to tech support. Elder financial abuse is unfortunately common, as seniors are attractive targets for both simple and sophisticated scams. In 2023, almost 25% of crypto-related internet crime complaints received by the FBI were from adults 60+, with losses totaling over $1.6 billion dollars.

- Your location (for example, US state or international location), and the location of other companies or individuals involved (if known);
- A chronology of the theft or fraud, including the exact day and time (if available);
- A list of all wallet addresses involved including your wallet addresses, and the wallet addresses of any bad actors; and
- Crypto transaction IDs if available for every transaction that is part of the theft or scam.
Note that we don't directly assist persons who have lost private keys to crypto hardware devices, but we can refer you to a crypto hardware recovery specialist if you contact us.
