Ansel Halliburton Helps Launch Open-Source Corporate Formation Document Project for Startups

Starting a company is never easy, and the legal issues involved with a startup can be dense and hard to understand. Fortunately for startups everywhere, the Ironsides project recently launched to bring transparency, efficiency, and understanding to the legal documents necessary for fledgling technology companies.
Ironsides is an open-source set of legal documents for forming technology startups. The documents are open to refinement by startup legal and business and experts, and facilitate efficient collaboration for both lawyers and entrepreneurs.
The Ironsides project is supported by Ironclad, a San Francisco-based contract management and automation company. Kronenberger Rosenfeld startup lawyer Ansel Halliburton contributed to the project leading up to its public launch.
Ironsides is powered by Common Form contract drafting software, to which Ansel contributes. Common Form helps contract authors avoid structural and stylistic drafting errors, encourages best practices, automates formatting, and integrates with other software. Ansel accepted a "Le Hackie" Top 10 Legal Hacks of 2015 Award for the Common Form team in January 2016.
